[quote257d1c9="Fonzie"][quote257d1c9="TurfToe"]Hmmmm, so glad I patched. 3 penalties on my opening drive. Ok.
gg Fonzie but I think we both knew who won that game. The AI.
Very frustrating indeed. Crane had an excellent game but when the Toros are held to one quality drive the entire game, Goodwin held to a 66.6 passer rating, and your own QB has a 111.6 rating day, it should be an easy win.
Congrats to Doman for his 59 yarder at the half. If he misses that (90% of the kickers do) then it's an OT game and we win, simply because we were the better team in that game.
If outplayng your opponent and getting the loss isn't bad enough, we suffered yet another calf injury. Is anybody else losing their entire secondary to calf injuries? Frankly, the injury engine is getting a little boring, give me a tobacco withdrawal or something because if I get my 8th calf injury on the year I'll just let the AI finish my season out for me.
Simply frustrating.
[Insert Dennis Green rant here] Just crown Tucson's ass already...

I agree with you on pretty much every count. We had no business winning that game. Tough loss, TT.
If it is any consolation (and I doubt it is) I was about as aggravated as one could be when watching this in Solevision. The gameplan implementation by the AI looked NOTHING like what I had drawn up. Defensively, I had arranged the gameplan to severely limit the use of goal-line personnel packages, yet on your opening drive alone we used it FOUR FREAKING TIMES. And then on the other side of the ball we somehow called for nearly half of our passes (17 of 35) to be bombs. I like to stretch the field on occasion, but that is a ridiculous proportion given that we were never in desperation/panic mode. Bad dice rolls, I know, but sometimes this game makes me want to pull out the stubble on the top of my head that I charitably refer to as "hair."
Still, gg TT. Traveling to Vegas is never fun, and your guys played well enough to win. See you in Week 15![/quote257d1c9]
And I agree with you. What I watched was nothing like what I had expected. I know the Toros better than anyone but you and I concur with you assessment. It was if the coach was trying to take Goodwin out of his game. The pieces that looked like his normal game were working but the playcalling immediately went back to what wasn't working for some strange reason.
Question: Did you patch? I was quite surprised by the penalties on both sides as well.
