Dammit...I could smack myself for forgetting to get an export in. I guess that's what happens when you're smack in the middle of a 60 hour work week, though.

A great pass rush from Tulsa kept them in the game. They sacked Lester 7 times today. Previously he had only been sacked 12 times in 14 games.

We lost starting WR [player]Dean Hastings[/player] for the season with a dislocated elbow. Hastings had career bests this year with 920 receiving yards and 10 TDs.

Now it all comes down to week 17 against Tampa!

Man, I didn't see this one coming. . .we get by Santa Cruz despite giving up 21 straight points in the fourth. .. gotta look at that defensive adjustment screen.

Brooklyn is guaranteed their first .500 season! :D

GG Privateers. . .

GG Hoosier, tried a new offense this week and I did get more carries out of Whalen, but my defense was horrible. Good luck in your playoff run however slim it may be.

gg Holes. This was the most fun I've had gameplanning in weeks. I shook things up a bit by moving my entire receiving corps around but I don't think it helped much. I was able to get Lang more involved but he ended up running a bunch of short routes. I'm still confused by the RB starting time. I actually lowered Jennings number this week and he got more carries than the others. While more in line than what he was getting with a higher number it is still confusing.

It appears as though the injure-the-QB defense still works but I'm glad it was only a minor injury to Kaeding. However, without knowing exactly how many times we blitzed (haven't looked at it closely yet), it doesn't appear as though the game plan of blitzing on a majority of both run and pass plays works very well, at least not against a good team.

I may have to extend Jackpot's contract one more year in case he decides to keep playing. You just gotta love an 18-year vet who can and will still throw 20+ yard strikes into double coverage. And complete them. I wonder what he says to guys like SE Wolfe who then fumble after catching those?

Another loss and we're almost certain to be in the top half of the draft, woohoo!

Well it was a lot closer than I thought it would be against Durham. We got a lot of pressure on the QB, but our offense is just so bad at times that we really couldn't do anything. Our defensive front played very well- but our secondary once again got picked apart. We only defensed 1 pass, and intercepted 1.

To even be slimly in the playoff race is a monumental step forward for my young Tigers. I'm loving this team more every day. My goal for this season was .500, or at least within an eyelash of .500, and we've accomplished that milestone. We're on schedule!

Wow. Corwin Ellard took over this game aided by a ton of turnovers created by the defense. Tough break for Fargo.

HUGE freakin' game. We're in the playoffs, but a win would give us the division crown. I have to look at the tie-breakers to see if a tie with Hartford would give the bye to me or to Hartford...

If I understand the tie breakers correctly Hartford would beat me in a tie. So the only way I get a bye is with a win and a Hartford loss.

GG TT, Kaeding is only out for a week. Al DeNeff came in and performed well (15 of 19 for 147 yds and 2TD's and no Picks). I set the playing time on Kaeding low so I think he was due to come out of the game anyway.

I am hesitant to sit guys completely for fear that some "Rust" varialble will come into play once we hit the playoffs.

You only had 12 rushing attempts for 35 yds, I think Jennings got more carries by luck of the draw and not so much the playing time setting.

An old QB like Jackpot tells his WR after a fumble "Shake it off, we're coming right back to you". Wolfe caught 3 of 6 averaging over 19 per catch.

GG :D

This game makes a huge difference for us. I believe a win gives us a bye and the #2 seed, while a loss gives us the #5 seed and a wild card game on the road. Go 'Dawgs!

GG San Antonio. That was the most competative game we've been in for quite some time.

With the loss we are now guaranteed the #1 overall pick. First time in my FOF career. Needless to say, we need some help on offense desperately. OK TT, let's hear the snarky comments...

GG to Chicago. It was a close one that I thought the Hitmen would pull out in the end, but [player]O.J. James[/player] got a big sack which caused a fumble that he then recovered to seal the game for us.

The bad news is that [player]Bucky Ferraro[/player] is hurt again, so we're back down to QB #3. It looks like he should be able to make it back in time for the playoffs. We still have an outside shot at the bye if we can get a win over Anchorage and a Texas win over Santa Cruz.

Well, Stevens chooses Week 16 to have his best statistical week of the year.

23/31 for 276 yards and 3 TDs.

Over the last 2 weeks, he's racked up a 115 QB rating with 4 TDs and 0 INTs. Hopefully the patience in him over the last 2 years will start to pay off next year.
