In a very weird coincidence, I found out that my logo is from a bar called the Crazy Armadillo in the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas...and that's where I was staying this weekend. How cool is that?

that is pretty wierd/cool. How was the Stratosphere, by the way? I've never been there on any of my trips to vegas (4 times).

A little inconvenient as most of the other casinos are either a busride or very long walk away. I don't have much of a frame of reference though as it was my first time in Vegas.

Definitely worth visiting though for the trip to the top of the tower. Awesome view and some decent thrill rides that are amplified by the height.

I'll bet the bar's logo has some fruity mixed drink in the Armadillo's hand instead of beer!

They had a lot of fruity drinks there, most blended with healthy quantities of tequila.

It's a run down hotel to stay out (no offense Ryche), but the trip up is good once or so :D

I wouldn't call it run down, but it is definitely basic compared to other hotels on the strip. Cheap place to sleep sums it up. Next time there I want to stay at the Mirage I think.

I've stayed at the mirage twice, and at treasure island once.. I'd definitely recommend either of those places.
