Could someone explain it?

And is there a helmet with the logo anywhere so I can get an avatar on the site?

No idea on the origin of the logo, but here is the thread where the team was named. Fargo was known as the Boxcars for the longest time. Their logo in the html still reflects that.

Great. Thanks for the info.
I like the name but couldnt figure out the FB. Now it makes sense.
