Prompted by Coton's intended change in Boston, I'd like to track the history of team name changes and relocation throughout league history.

Here's my first attempt, please fill in the blanks when you remember something else.

Hartford was the Charter Oaks for week 1 of the first preseason. I didn't take over until week 2.

where were they based?

Also, do you think we should this track this, as that team never even played an official game?

When I first took over Denver I wanted to change their name. I'm glad I didn't, and I actually worked on my roster instead of my team name. The only thing I'd like to change would be my banner and my team colors. I don't have the software to make any new team uniforms. It would be cool to have throw back uniforms.

They were also based in Hartford. It's probably not worth tracking though because, as you said, every game was played as the Attack in year 1.

This is an excellent idea, fff.

I have a very vague, and possibly confabulated, memory of us initially having a team in Portland. Does that ring a bell for anyone else?

I'll concur but only because I remember seeing the generic Portland image in-game before updating the files. However, I don't recall ever seeing a Portland team play. Then again, I didn't start until 2005 if I recall correctly. Maybe I can do some research on my other PC and see what roster is tied to what I think I remember (yes, I think I still have league files from FOF2K4 and no, I don't find that disturbing).

I can't recall a Portland team. I know Oregon has been here since my start in 2005 which is about the same time TT started.
