With the 2022 regular season nearing an end, I'd like us to begin discussing some possible changes for next year. If you have any changes you'd like to see considered, please chime in here. The two I've been thinking about

1) increase the injury setting to at least 150. While those who've recently suffered career ending injuries to key players will probably disagree, it's been fairly easy to go entire seasons with minimal/minor injuries;

2) revamp the preseason schedule to sim weeks 1-3 and 4-5 over two days. We discussed doing a preseason with injuries turned off entirely a little while ago, and that idea was shot down. However, fff had recommended a different model: have injuries turned off for weeks 1, 2 and 4, but turning them on for weeks 3 and 5. This would allow us to get through the dreaded preseason far faster while maintaining at least some degree of injuries.

Thoughts on these ideas? Or other suggestions?

the injury setting to 150 could be a good idea and some may be for it but I am not. I'm in another league with it at 150 and its incredibly frustrating, for my team at least.

As for the preseason schedule, I'd be all for simming it in two days. As for the injuries, I'd rather leave those on to keep as much realness as we can.

I'd be in favor of speeding up the preseason, even though I find value in evaluating players. Overall it would be a positive.

As for the injury, I'd be totally against it. There have been too many years, where I've had up to 10 players on the injury list and to be honest raising it would seem to be an extreme.

Absolutely not on the injuries. Few of us are blessed with Goodwin and his great health.

I'd be good with speeding up preseason as long as I am not exposed to increased injuries.
