I almost did give it to Saunders. I had a caption all written and ready. Then I realized the game had awarded the MVP to Bridges, and changed my mind to give a game ball to a Long Beach player. After all, it was a tie. Both teams should get some credit.

The player card of Eddie Spires says fans need a scorecard to know who he is. I have a feeling, however, that everyone in Long Beach knows who he is, but not because he's a fan favorite.

Didn't have no name changed but Long Beach's team name is actually "Calibiri". Don't think it ever got changed to the correct name, though.
