Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!

And just FYI, the game repeatedly crashed on the Seattle - Santa Cruz game. Not sure what that was about, but probably had something to do with the AI adjustments needed for the invalid roster in SEA.

That was one of our better games in a while. We were very efficient on offense even though we had 5 FGs which couldn't be turned into TDs. The defense was solid.

Special teams were just that as we had both a kickoff and punt returned for TDs. Jim Brost has 3 punt returns on the year, two of which have been brought back for 6 points.

A close heartbreaker loss for Albany, falling to the Militia by a mere three points. Granted, we were only that close after a brilliant 43 yard fumble return, but still! Bart Godfrey tore us apart, and the offense struggled to make up for the loss of two critical starters. To rub salt into the wound, we had ANOTHER starter, this time on defense, go down. This is turning into a perfect storm season - but it can only go up from here. GG, Aamalin.

Well, that sure didn't *feel* like a game we won. But I won't complain. gg Marven.

And congratulations to Graham Barrett, who topped 13,000 career rushing yards today. He's now sixth all-time.

I suppose I should also congratulate Dwight Terrell on becoming the CFL's career leader in catches (1016) and receiving yards (14536).

I should, but I won't. 'Cuz he's a Rounder. And they suck and stuff.

GG Zona.

Tough battle that I'm glad we won. Stadium was only two-thirds capacity. Well, hopefully they'll come out to see us play some team called Hunnington.

Old Man Mathews looked like he was in his prime, winning Offensive PoW honors.

Great game, CHI. It came right down to the final play. Thankfully we stopped you 10 yards short of a winning TD.

Good game Tempest, I watched the game on solevision and it was actually really intense for a 13-10 game. The 19 yard field goal block early in the game really hurt you. Referees were busy. We both got nailed for multiple false starts in a row. I think I got nailed for 3 in a row. In the blink of an eye it was 1st and 25!

Mr. Godfrey would like to say hello to all the ROTY voters and formally introduce himself.

Wow...what a game!

Honolulu takes a 20-17 lead with just over a minute left. We drive to the 11 yard line and kick the tying FG as time expires.

Overtime is a lot of back and forth with no one able to score. At one point Foster throws an INT on our 36 yard line. Honolulu only manages 3 yards and misses a 50 yard FG.

Finally with 12 seconds left, Bouler kicks a 51 yard FG to win it 23-20.

Heck of a game, Honolulu! That's one stout defense you have there!

GG to you too.

My supposedly stout defense let Foster go 3-4 for 50 yds on that game tying drive. 64 pass attempts Stretch? Holy spread offense game plan. I only get 1 sack and 9 hurries out of that many pass attempts also.

Marcus Hanks absolutely pissed down his leg in OT. He goes 2-11 with 8 straight incompletions. We eventually lose the field position battle and HB gets the chippie FG for the win.

I just have a bad feeling about this season.

I'd rather loose in OT than have a tie. GG Fonzie
