I have windows 7 home premium.

Can you pass along a bit more info? What have you done? Where are you getting stuck?

I also do not install the game in the Program Files folders. I create a directory c:/games and put all my pre-windows 7 games there.

Well the game is installed in the programs...should I uninstall and move it?

I guess the problem I am having is just getting it set up to see the team names and being able to see the current stage. I did this once back in 2009 but i believe it was on a different system.

I have started trying to create folders. Its not working...I have downloaded the universe files into a folder I created but not sure if that was the right thing to do or not.

The universe files (city names, nicknames, etc) need to be located in the following directory on a windows 7 machine: C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]l\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\universe

If you are using batch files, the batch file will need to copy the CFL universe files into this directory before loading the game.

I created folders in the directory that Masked mentioned above. One folder for the CFL and one folder for my default and put the related files in them. Then I used the following batch file located in the directory that you installed FOF.

cd "C:\Users\{YOUR USER}\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\universe"
copy "C:\Users\{YOUR USER}\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\CFL\frfoot.fcy" /y

copy "C:\Users\{YOUR USER}\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\CFL\frfoot.fni" /y

cd\

cd "C:\Games\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\Pictures"

copy "C:\Users\{YOUR USER}\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\CFL\*.bmp" /y

cd..

start FrFoot2007.exe

I then made a shortcut of the batch file and copied it to the desktop for easier use. I know it can be tricky to get it setup. Hope this helps.
