From this list it appear we have good owner activity so why the lack of participation in the forum??

Do we need a contest or pick a winner or something?

Any idea's on how to get our participation up?

I am going to do a big recruitment campaign to get new owners, let get our participation up and welcome some new blood to our awesome league.

Sorry everyone. I forgot to mention that we had a little girl on the way. Baby Kaitlin was born on May 2nd, and my time has been very limited. I will make a better effort in the upcoming weeks.

And my excuse is that I've been depressed a lot lately and got distracted.

As far as how to get participation up? That's a tough one. A survivor pool would help a little. Owners doing write-ups on whatever would help. The other league I'm in has a designated Monday Night game that gets special coverage.

For me, it's been the new home page. I transact on the home page now, where before I would come into the forum and download the weekly file from the thread. I'd keep it open while reviewed the games and comment. However, the new home page doesn't show any recent activity in the forum. Last post on the new home page says that it is from April 24 . . . maybe we need to get that synced up?

Also - I don't think Shooter has a new one on the way. I haven't talked to him in awhile, but more likely he's busy with work and family.

Next on the list is to revamp the front page of the new site. I agree that too much focus is on the news posts. I've got lots more data to add to the site - it's a work in progress and it's coming along as I have time. I've even got data that's not from dbupdater, so given time we can have some unique features I hope.

As for activity, how would people (especially Josh) feel about changing the schedule? Maybe slowing things down during the offseason (sometimes it's hard to keep up with daily sims, and the draft went way too fast the last two years), but then compensating for it by speeding up the regular season (3 games per week?). Thoughts?
