I have never had the 1st overall pick before and it's like Christmas! I'm sitting here saying, "I want that one and that one and those two, and oooh, look at this!"

In all seriousness, there are some great RBs, two good Tackles and a possible QB up at the top.

He does look pretty good. I'm not sure if I'm in a market for a DE but I might interview him and take him if my scout falls in love.

How about "the Next Bert Foster"?

He's not in this class. There's a "he probably isn't a bad option and would be about a low-70s QB" but he won't be Bert.

One of these RB's sure can fly: 4.29

It has to be an extremely easy choice at #1. How can you pass that up?

Those are some of the best numbers I have seen on a TE, plus this guy is an unstoppable beast at 6'8"!!!

Yes but have you seen the punters? There are easily two Hall of Famers in the class. I am considering going punter with my first three picks.

Yep...Still breathing on this side too. Looking forward to this year and seeing what Farr and the 2 WRs can do to reclaim the division title.

Pretty good class. I really need a QB or RB, but neither fall to me. I think the T's are good, but probably low top 10 grade. The two CB's are pretty dynamic and there is a stud LB sitting there as well.

Baylor might have won the National Championship with that QB #1 overall and that RB.

I couldn't resist that QB. There are two other players I considered but I can't pass on a QB that's probably between 575 and 600.

His college teammate looks outstanding. He is a nice silver medal.

And the Baylor Backfield officially makes a new home in Atlanta.

It was really tempting to hold onto the #2 pick and draft Negron and try to trade former #3 overall pick (under previous management) Mutzel.

I waffled back and forth which one to pick with #1. We needed a QB desperately but Negron's combines were just SO good.

Wolfpack Selects Baylor Backfield with 1st and 2nd Picks of the 2037 draft

Image

Jerald Cowher and Steven Negron terrorized the Big 12 last year as the dynamic duo passed over and ran past defenses on their way to an undefeated season. Now, the San Andreas division will get all they want from the former Bears as Cowher and Negron were selected #1 and #2 overall in the 2037 CFL draft by the Atlanta Wolfpack.

"When Albany offered the 2nd pick in the draft out for a possible trade," said GM/Lead Scout/Parking Lot Painter "Stretch" Shelley, "we knew we had the picks to make a trade happen. We're just glad that we were able to get a deal done that will be beneficial to both teams."

While the deal brings a ton of talent to the state of Georgia, some fans are concerned that Atlanta mortgaged their future to make it happen. "I understand that impression. We did give up a #1 and #2 next year and our #2 this year for the pick. However, I think the fans will forget the price tag once they see this duo operate together," smiled Shelley.

When the pair were asked about continuing to play together, they used phrases like "stunned and thrilled", "best possible outcome", and "dream come true." The two embraced as they showed off their new jerseys to the delight of Wolfpack fans.

If you took Negron 1st, the #2 pick would not have been traded.

Once in a blue moon I get lucky...

Cho is off the board.

I just signed a few decent edge rushers in FA (Mathis and Cooke), and now they will work with Cho to bring as much pass pressure as I can, and keep bringing it with fresh legs on every down. Quarterbacks used to have all day to sit in the pocket against Boston. Those days are over, hopefully.

My scout fell in love with Cho. I think they were spotted having dinner together with my scout staring lovingly at Cho's combine scores.
