I freed up about 5 mil with negotiations, but that's it.. but i'm in relatively decent, steady cap room i think for awhilea nyways... i wish it would project years forward like espn 2k5 does...

All of my renegotiation offers to players under contract were "Turned down due to lack of cap room." This confuses me, as all of my offers would've free up cap room, so I'm not sure why I got that message (I've never seen it before). Anybody know what's going on?

My guess is you have to be under the cap to do anything. I think you have to cut someone since you are 20K over the cap.
