It's a great idea, a tournament of champions of sort.

But I just don't see how it could be done... :(

This is something that at one time I suggested on FOFC as a feature for future versions...

At the current time I don't see how this could be done.. unless there is some difficult fenagling that could be done with the player editor?

well the easiest way I could see is to simply make a new player file- and just make rosters for the two teams based on the players ratings they have. The problem with that is you have the X-factor which would come in and change all the players and make the results not really what we would want to see. An idea for a future FOF league could be something of a league of champions- all the best teams from the IHOF, CFL, HFL, eNFL...and so on...
that could be a cool league because you could have your team playing in both leagues- but the rosters would be different, more or less it would just be the team names. And who am I kidding? I would never get into one of those- Tulsa is destined to suck forever ;)

Well, you could turn X-Factor off...

And I don't think we'd be talking about doing progression.. we'd just want a one time matchup..

So... this could work.. however, the difficult part is you could not do past teams unless someone had old files to show what the teams' ratings were at that time..
