[b80be229]Hungtington Beach [/b80be229]continues its roller-coaster season, at least rankings wise. In the last 5 weeks, the Capitalists have been ranked #4 then #1 then #8 then #1 and now back to #6!!!
[b80be229]Tucson [/b80be229]pounces on HB's misfortunes to jump back in 1st place. A 1st position which was once again the object of a fierce battle, and for a while (before SOS kicked in), the [i80be229]*gasp*[/i80be229] [b80be229]Detroit Vampires [/b80be229]were actually in 1st [i80be229]*shudder*[/i80be229] ! But reason prevailed (Detroit still has by far the weakest schedule), and the Toros are back in 1st.
Don't look now, but [b80be229]Santa Cruz [/b80be229]is on the rise! Santa Cruz, a preseason favorite, had a disastrous start to the season but is now slowly creeping back up the charts and is back in the 1st half of the rankings. They will be a team to watch in the 2nd half of the year.
Another team on the rise, the [b80be229]Chicago Hitmen [/b80be229]are 2-0 since they unveiled their new banner, and have gained 8 spots during that winning streak.
[b80be229]Tampa Bay [/b80be229]however is heading in the opposite direction, ie down. After a disastrous 2005 season, the Torpedoes were expected to rebound this season, but after a 2-6 start, it is hard to imagine them turning things around. GM Wade Moore was least seen shaking his head in shame and disgust, entering the tunnel of Hitman Field in Chicago...
And now, without any further ado, here are your rankings!

Worst possible score: -88 pts
Looking ahead, we have a very exciting week 10 with some great match-ups, among which the classic Tucson @ Honolulu, with the added flavor this time around of having the #2 ranked team going against the #1 team.
