Opening day is only one week away and the excitement is starting to build! Week 1 is a unique week where every single game is a division game. Here is a quick summary of the week 1 schedule:

[bde77829]Arizona at Tucson[/bde77829]
Battle for bragging rights in the desert. Tucson leads the series 3-1.

[bde77829]Baltimore at Charleston[/bde77829]
Combined records of these two teams over 2 seasons is 51-13.

[bde77829]Boise at Anchorage[/bde77829]
Boise makes the long trip to Alaska where they lost in overtime last year.

[bde77829]Boston at Atlantic City[/bde77829]
Last season in week 15 Boston shut out Atlantic City 17-0. The Phantoms are ready for revenge.

[bde77829]Chicago at Cleveland[/bde77829]
Cleveland has a 3 game winning streak against Chicago.

[bde77829]Denver at Tulsa[/bde77829]
Tulsa had their biggest victory in franchise history last year in week 11 when they beat Denver 27-13.

[bde77829]Detroit at Albany[/bde77829]
Rocky McFarland has 4 TD passes and 0 INTs in 3 games against Detroit.

[bde77829]El Paso at Fargo[/bde77829]
Rivals meet for the fifth time. Fargo has won the first four games.

[bde77829]Honolulu at Las Vegas[/bde77829]
Ronnie Tu hopes to torch Vegas' weak secondary.

[bde77829]Long Beach at Huntington Beach[/bde77829]
The Beach Bowl series has been dominated by Huntington Beach thus far.

[bde77829]Memphis at New Orleans[/bde77829]
Can Memphis bounce back to their 2003 form? Can New Orleans improve after a pair of 6-10 seasons?

[bde77829]New York at Hartford[/bde77829]
These two teams tied 20-20 in week 15 last year.

[bde77829]Oregon at Seattle[/bde77829]
Seattle played tough against Oregon last season and won't lay down for the Ice this year either.

[bde77829]Santa Cruz at Sacramento[/bde77829]
Sacramento is playing for revenge for last year's playoff upset.

[bde77829]Shreveport at San Antonio[/bde77829]
The Pride is 0-4 against the Armadillos but it's a brand new year.

[bde77829]Tampa Bay at Durham[/bde77829]
Motormouth Bowl III. Will Motormouth finally lead his team to victory or will he put his foot in his mouth once again?

Tom Sonkin predicts an easy El Paso win over Fargo.

Tommy was never a very bright feller...

Revenge is not very likely. The Phantoms suck :(

Yes, but last year, they didn't have ME as GM. :D I predict Boise will triumph 28-17. Now, if only my guys can avoid injuring themselves in the cold or getting their tongues stuck to flagpoles or something....
