I don't have time for a full write-up but a few highlights for ACI:

- Stoner looks like he is ready for the season to start as he intercepts 3 passes.

- Heavily scrutinized first round pick Engelke made a great first impression with 17 carries for 98 yards and a 5.76 yard average. Even more impressive was 4 runs over 10 yards and 2 touchdowns.

- Firth took the early lead in the QB battle as he goes 9/13 for 87 yards with no interceptions and an 87.6 QB rating. Nelson also had a good day At 17/24 for 80 yards. The key for these young QB's is to manage the offense and not turn over the ball. So far so good. Next week, Ripple gets his chance.
